This exceptional microlot from northeastern Kenya brings fruity freshness directly to your espresso cup. Kathendu AA comes from Festus Kathendu from the fertile highlands of Embu and consists of the SL28 and K7 varieties. The coffee is double washed on the farm, giving it its exceptional, clear structure and lively aromas. The “AA” stands for the highest bean sorting – particularly large, ripe and of the best quality. In terms of taste, Kathendu convinces as an espresso with sparkling cranberry, juicy kumquat and full-bodied sweetness of cocoa butter
