Our Commitment
Coffeefe is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Accessibility Standard
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Our accessibility efforts are guided by relevant accessibility requirements, including the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (1998) and related regulations regarding website accessibility.
Accessibility Features
We aim to support the following accessibility features (and continuously improve them):
Perceivable
- Alternative text for informative images where feasible
- Use of semantic markup to help assistive technologies interpret content
- We aim for sufficient color contrast ratios (e.g., 4.5:1 for normal text where applicable)

- We aim to avoid conveying information by color alone
- Clear visual hierarchy with proper heading structure
Operable
- Keyboard navigation support for core flows
- Visible focus indicators on focusable elements
- Logical tab order throughout the site
- We aim to avoid keyboard traps
- Skip navigation links for main content
- Clear and consistent navigation structure
Understandable
- Clear, simple language throughout the site
- Consistent navigation and UI placement across pages
- Predictable component behavior
- Form labels and error messages are clear and accessible
- Page language is properly declared
Robust
- Valid, semantic HTML markup
- ARIA attributes used appropriately where needed
- We aim to be compatible with modern screen readers and assistive technologies
- We test across common browsers and devices where feasible
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations:
- User-uploaded images: Images uploaded by users may not have alternative text. We encourage users to provide descriptions when uploading.
- Third-party content: Some embedded content from third parties may not meet all accessibility standards.
- Legacy content: Some older content may not fully conform to current standards. We are working to update this content.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all areas of the site.
Testing and Verification
Our accessibility review process may include:
- Automated testing using Lighthouse and axe-core
- Manual keyboard navigation testing
- Screen reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA)
- Color contrast verification
- Focus order and management testing
Last accessibility audit: Not yet performed
