This tri-bourbon kaleidoscope is a 50% Hawaiian blend that reminds us of fruit cake at a lighter roast, and black forest cake at a darker roast, with layers of dried fruit, sweet spice, rich chocolate, and nuts. Originally discovered in the 1700s on Reunion Island, the original "Bourbon" plants developed ruby red and golden yellow mutations. Today, its rarest color mutations, yellow and pink, have achieved cult-like status among coffee lovers, beloved for their sparkling fruit undertones and lack of bitterness. In Hawai'i, the Bourbon coffee variety expresses itself through a spectrum of flavors, influenced by the island's microclimates and volcanic landscape. Our Hawaiian Rainbow Bourbon coffee brings together two awarded Hawaiian Bourbons with a rare pink Colombian Bourbon. Kona Red Bourbon: Grown on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano, this Kona Red Bourbon was the winning coffee at the "Brewers Cup" preliminaries in Hawaii, and was rated 94 points by Coffee Review. It shines with notes of sweet cherry, brown sugar and milk chocolate. Ka'ū Yellow Bourbon: Cultivated in the district of Ka'ū, Yellow Bourbon is one of our most popular coffees. It contributes flavors of pineapple, rose, cucumber and sandalwood. Colombia Pink Bourbon: Sourced from the highlands of Colombia, the Pink Bourbon is rare and prized for its sweet and floral aroma, offering notes of pink lemonade and rose.
