It's a region we've worked in for nearly 15 years, still largely unknown to visitors - just southeast of Kona - but beloved by locals. Carefully crafted from a proprietary blend of exquisite coffee varieties grown on nearby farms our bright and sweet signature Kaʻū coffee is notable for it's long and juicy fruit tones and a sweet candied nut finish. Nourished and babied as young seedlings, this Kaʻū coffee matures in misty afternoons and mineral-rich volcanic soils, developing a cup that’s at once vibrant and deeply sweet. To preserve its exceptional flavor and vibrancy, Kaʻū Morning Glory is milled and graded shortly before roasting at our own farm and mill, then stored in Grain-pro bags until it's ready to roast. This meticulous attention to freshness ensures that every roast showcases the bright, juicy notes and delicate complexities of the coffee year-round.
