About This Coffee

Finca De Dios, first established as a horse farm, is a near perfect template of conscious coffee farming by the Prentice family. Ellen slowly converted the farm into a full coffee operation after becoming an Agricultural Engineer and inheriting land from her father. Combining experience with academic backgrounds, Finca De Dios has developed beautiful coffees with the aid of the rich, volcanic soils of Fraijanes and pristine processing. The last few years have been tough for Finca de Dios due to hail that ruined harvest and hurt the plants resulting in the lowest yields ever this year. This specific Zapote lot was previously collected and bulked with other coffees, but in 2019, the Prentice family sorted this lot out separately exclusively just for Ruby
