About This Coffee

Sonia Díaz owns the farm Nuwa Senchi, which means “Strong Woman” in the Awajún language, a tribute to Amazonian women’s resilience and leadership. Sonia was born in Cajamarca and grew up in the Guamboya hamlet of Lonya Grande, Amazonas. After completing her studies in Engineering Systems and Marketing in Chachapoyas, she began cultivating coffee with her brother at age 22, focusing on Geisha and Marshell varieties
