About This Coffee

Zarza coffee (connected to the family surname Gasca) is a third generation family farm located in Bruselas, Huila. I had few coffees from the same farm before and all of them were very expressive. I cupped sample of this lot first time in Katowice few days after the festival and one the ”washed” table (when we were cupping washed coffees only) stood out as the most aromatic one. Acidity is not super high, but there is a nice freshness of blood orange and aftertaste that reminds me of cardamom. It does not feel like eating cardamom buns unfortunately, but combination of acidity and sweetness reminiscent of it. I only tried this coffee as filter but am quite sure it works perfectly also as a turbo shot.
