Lenin Flores [Washed] - Espresso

About This Coffee

This coffee is produced by the Flores family, in the village of El Diamante, in northern Peru, in the district of San José de Lourdes. Cultivated at over 1,900 meters altitude, it comes from cherries carefully harvested when ripe, then subjected to a pre-fermentation overnight followed by a fermentation of 24 to 36 hours after depulping, in order to reveal their aromatic intensity. Slow drying in a ventilated greenhouse ensures a cup of great purity, balanced and expressive. In espresso, it reveals a beautiful liveliness and aromas of candied orange, almond and panela, carried by a silky texture and a long gourmet finish.
