Basha is a smallholder producer and exporter based in Bombe, in the Bensa district of Sidama, representing a new generation of producers gaining independence through Ethiopia’s evolving export system. He farms approximately 12 hectares of semi-forested land planted primarily with the local 74158 variety and operates collection sites across Bombe, Shantawane, and Kokose, sourcing cherry from 126 producers growing at elevations up to 2300 masl. The cup opens with clean, expressive florals and a rich, complex mulberry sweetness. As it cools, it moves gracefully into deep mango-like tropical notes, with sweet citrus threading through the finish
