About This Coffee
This natural process coffee from Hamasho, located in the Bombe mountains of Sidamo, Ethiopia, is a balance of sweet citrus, fruit-forward smoothness, and delicate florals. The cup opens with a lemon tea brightness that carries into a creamy, fruity body reminiscent of a delicate ruby chocolate, and finishes with a gentle chamomile. There’s a mild complimentary funk in the cup, but we would mark this more on the clean side for a natural. This lot comes from smallholder producers delivering cherry to Daye Bensa’s Hamasho Washing Station and is composed of Ethiopian Heirloom varietals.
