About This Coffee

This blend is made with arabica coffees from two countries marked by conflicts. In eastern DR Congo, farmers on Idjwi Island in Lake Kivu have fled brutal rebel violence - a conflict fueled by the global demand for rare minerals. For them, coffee is a lifeline. In Myanmar, coffee farming has become one of the few alternatives to fleeing to Thailand or fighting in the civil war. We’re proud to work with Rebuild Women’s Hope and Indigo Mountain, helping build small but real paths toward a better future. The Red Holiday Blend is the most balanced one: sweet, jam-like and juicy, with ripe berry notes and a silky, smooth body. Despite the sad fact that both countries have been caught up in long-running conflicts, they also grow incredibly delicious coffee - and this blend proves it. You’ll taste notes of cranberry, panettone and candied fruit, in a cup that’s perfectly at home on any Christmas table. Enjoy.
