About This Coffee

Santa Catarina is in every way the result of a family's great passion for coffee. The farm – located at an altitude of 1275 meters in the Carmo De Minas region – is run by Sebastião Alexandre da Silva who, together with the rest of the family, does most of the work on the land. The family grows different varieties, of which this plot is a cherry-dried Yellow bourbon which has been fermented in various stages with a yeast strain developed from the company's own coffee berries. The stated goal is to give the coffee a tropical sweet character
