Banko Gotiti - Washed - French Roast

About This Coffee

A relatively early arrival for this season and from a large processing site, this washed Ethiopian is probably not going to be the best of the season. I’m anticipating better tasting coffees with a similar taste profile to land in the coming months, which is why I only bought a limited amount of this coffee, and I won’t be able to get more because it sold out within a day from the importer. All that said, I haven’t had a coffee with this taste profile in a few months, so I’m really really happy with how it tastes. Very zingy, very acidity forward compared to the classic washed Ethiopian profile. The French roast version of this coffee gets a rare specific taste descriptor, it reminds me a lot of lemonade!
