About This Coffee

Icy winds whip through the city's gangways like driven spirits. The skeletons of barren trees reach out with brittle branches. Ruthless snow drifts block pathways, forcing us to detour. Storms signify chaos, intense passion, and major change. The powerful sense that our reality is bound to the afterlife through the thread of nature feels strongest on the coldest nights. These moments bring our focus inward while we long for nature's bloom--a promise held in the air for warmer beginnings and the reemergence of life. SantaRia's brew is a rich, sweet cup, driven by flame and development--a trusty companion through the piercing winter winds.  Santa Ria starts with Ethiopian hybrid -beans that can withstand a good amount of both heat and development in the roaster, giving us a range in flavor profile to play with for blending. We paired this with the brighter, rich honey processed Catuai, also from Finca San Jeronimo Miramar in Guatemala.
