Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda Gesha Natural Guabo 3 BANC
About This Coffee
Founded in 1967 by Rudolph Peterson, Hacienda La Esmeralda is a family farm in Boquete, Panama, known for its over 50 years of coffee cultivation excellence. The farm benefits from rich volcanic soil and an ideal climate, contributing to the vibrant flavors and exceptional aroma of its coffees. Guabo 3 BANC was harvested on January 31st, 2025 from the Guabo B location at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s El Velo farm. After picking, the coffee cherries were pre-dried outdoors for 3 days, then fermented for 5 days in a stainless steel anaerobic tank at the cool fermentation room. Drying was then completed in an indoor climate-controlled facility for 3–4 days, with consistent airflow and precise temperature and humidity control.
