Rwanda - Gisheke

Process Coffee

About This Coffee

Rwandan Coffee has held a special place in my heart throughout my coffee journey. The coffees I've had have always been juicy, but held a different richness and body than other African coffee origins. That, along with the tragic and incredible story the this country and their rebirth has made me appreciate the coffees I can purchase from here even more. This coffee is a traditional natural processed coffee that carries a sweetness and complexity to it. Nice and cosy as a filter or if you're running it through espresso it is super tasty as a milky one ☝️ In the brew I'm getting: Red berries, honey, and clove and my taste markers are clean and sweet **Sourced through the legends at Raw Material, these coffees are from Gisheke in the Nyamasheke District. Gisheke’s geographic location makes it ideal for the processing and drying of naturally processed lots. This is due to the consistent wind flow, that moves between two steep hills that lead towards Lake Kivu, Idjwi Island and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. All Process coffees are sold as 200g
