About This Coffee

Paraíso Escondido is the home of Jaime Morales, wife Irma Yolanda and their 5 children. Jaime has spent the last 11 years undertaking the arduous task of turning his farm from commercial to specialty to obtain higher quality premiums. The changes included planting new varieties, specifically focusing on Maragogype which now makes up more than half of his 8 hectare farm. A natural mutation - this variety can be up to three times larger with an extremely high sweetness and balanced acidity.
