About This Coffee

The roots of Franceschi Coffee go back to the 1800s, when the Franceschi family emigrated from Corsica (France), to Panama. In 1950, Carmen Franceschi suggested starting a coffee farm with her husband Efrain, an idea that led to the creation of Carmen Estate. Carlos Aguilera Franceschi, their grandson, launched a more personal and artisanal venture: Franceschi Coffee. Together with his partner Jean Paul Langenstein, Carlos now cultivates Gesha on small plots of land in the Volcán region
