About This Coffee
We owe this unique espresso from Costa Rica to our friends from Hacienda Sonora. It perfectly combines the notes of cherries and oranges with a full, round body, a sweet caramel note and a deep chocolatey aftertaste. When enjoying the espresso, a balanced fruity sweetness with notes of cherries, oranges and dark chocolate crystallizes out. The Villalobos variety is naturally processed. This means that after harvesting, the ripe cherries are spread out with the pulp on a terrace and dried by the sun before the skin is removed. In this way, the cherry can absorb the full taste and sweetness of the fruit. Villalobos convinces with fruity, gentle and full-bodied properties. When enjoying the espresso, a balanced fruity sweetness with notes of cherries, caramel, oranges and exotic dried fruits and chocolatey notes in the finish crystallizes out.
