About This Coffee

Highlighting some serious specialty gems from our origin partners around world. Prepare to be wowed by creativity. This microlot comes from Timor-Leste, a young country in the Indonesian archipelago that still relies on declining oil income. Together with our partner Raw Material, we invest in specialty coffee as a “way out” for thousands of small-scale farmers. Some coffee grows on small farms, while the rest is cultivated in community-managed forests - great for conservation, but hard to live off. That’s why we focus on adding value through quality coffee and support Raw Material in building sustainable washing stations.
