This exceptional coffee comes from the legendary Lamastus Family’s Elida Estate, renowned for their award-winning treasures—including the record-shattering Elida Geisha Aguacatillo, which sold for an astonishing $6,034 per pound. The unique world conditions at which Elida coffee grows can be listed as follows: high elevation, rich volcanic soils, unique microclimate, low temperatures, microorganism beneficial to coffee, unique coffee yeasts, fungus, fog and mist during the dry season, virgin-native cloudy rain forest surrounding the coffee trees, and low temperatures at nights (in the highest part in occasions below 10℃/50℉) that elongates the production period and the ripening of the fruit (a crucial attribute for the development of the bean).
