About This Coffee

The first release from Rwanda 2025 is Nkara / Michel Dusengimana. This is a single farmer lot from Michel and his family. Most of Rwanda's coffee is processed together at a communal washing station from cherries brought in by hundreds of smallholder farmers. Cherries are typically mixed and sorted into lots by washing station or region, making single-farmer micro-lots very rare in Rwanda. You can enjoy the sweetness like brown sugar and the fruity taste like a pleasant apricot
