About This Coffee

Paul and Kevin Doyle are the men behind Mikava which is one of the finest coffee farms on the planet today. In 2019 they won the Colombian Cup of Excellence with the highest score ever achieved in the contest. In 2023 their coffee was used to win the World Brewers Cup. They have become the coffee of choice for many competitors on the international competition stage. We are privileged to roast their coffees. This coffee is from their second farm, Santuario which is especially suited to growing Gesha with its altitude of 2000 MASL. Paul and his son Kevin only select and pick from the top 1% of coffee cherries from trees grown on a whopping 14 acre(6 hectare) farm located just outside and overlooking the town of Marsella, Risaralda in the center of the Colombian Andes. Our tasting/cupping notes for this second coffee come from our Q Grader, Monika. She'll always find at least 7 or 8 aromas, taste notes etc and then select the three she finds most pronounced to put on our bags. For this coffee she selected Peach, Mango and Black Tea
