Honduras Catuaí Rojo

The Coffee Mill

About This Coffee

The Mierisch family has been growing coffee for four generations in Nicaragua. Thanks to their special growing methods, they achieve great results in coffee growing and have made a name for themselves as experts in developing coffee growing techniques. In 2011, they started the coffee project in the national park area of Honduras, called Cerro Azul. The farm is blessed with a microclimate and conditions similar to Nicaragua. The family, who specialize in coffee growing, discovered that the soil in Honduras is different and full of special flavors and so will be the effect on the coffee plants. They discovered that the rich soil of Honduras in addition to their knowledge can produce coffee fruit at a level they have not yet known. The coffee is characterized by intense flavors of milk chocolate and cream. The simple and refined sweetness is joined by a delicate cherry and pomegranate flavor - creating a rich and balanced coffee.
