About This Coffee

Despite sharing a border of more than 865 kilometers with Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, Kenyan coffee is just as famous. The consistently high quality and distinctive fruity flavor profiles make this one of the most sought-after origins in the world. Where a lot of coffee farmers are still fully cultivating the traditional SL varieties, we are also seeing more new varieties such as Ruiru-11 and Batian. These produce better in the current climate conditions. This coffee comes from the Muranga region and has a characteristic fruity flavor pattern with a clean aftertaste.
