About This Coffee

The Longboard auction was the passion project of the late Justin Boudeman - a visionary producer pioneering his own unique path in coffee. We had the honour of cupping with Justin a year ago and visiting his daughter, Noemi, on their farm only a few months back, where we first encountered the coffee that became part of their debut auction. Months later we had the opportunity to host the Longboard cupping at our store in Marylebone - 12 handpicked lots selected exclusively for their 'Into the Mist' auction. It seemed timely and deeply fitting to secure our first-ever auction lot. Harvested on March 17th, LAH1 has undergone a wild yeast fermentation at cold temperature, before a 1 day sunbath and finally 30 days slow dried in a climate controlled room. In the cup, we found flavour notes of jasmine, blackberry and clementine.
