This 100% estate grown Kona coffee is a unique blend Kona Typica, Red Bourbon, and SL34 varieties. The founders of Aloha Star Coffee Farms, Armando and Karina Rodriguez, use a honey process method which leaves the natural sugars contained in the mucilage (pulp) attached to the parchment layer. This results in a sweeter, fruity, and more balanced flavor. Aloha Star Honey is a juicy and approachable coffee; a perfect option for those just trying out honeyed coffees or those who have long loved this special coffee process. We recommend brewing it as a pour-over to bring out the full spectrum of flavors.
