Ibisi Site

About This Coffee

Ibisi washing station is located in the hills of Southern Rwanda, just a short drive from the Nyungwe Forest. Bernard Uwitije, a native of the area, had been trading dry-processed coffees, when he realized the potential for fully washed specialty grade coffee. He built his first washing station, Gitega hills and had operated successfully in his first year. His success prompted him to then invest and create Gitega's sister washing station: Ibisi
