The varieties of this coffee are Ombligon and Papayo, which have been attracting attention in recent years. It is increasingly being adopted in competitions and is characterized by a complex taste rich in fruitiness. The coffee was produced by Jairo, a third-generation coffee producer from Quindio, Colombia. He worked for over 40 years as the factory manager for Colombia's second largest coffee exporter before retiring in 2019. In 1987, he purchased his first farm, "Finca La Esmeralda", and has since expanded to operate five farms
