This year’s festive coffee is a real highlight, an excellent lot sourced through Ensambles, who work closely with producers to export some of the best coffee Mexico has to offer. We’ve chosen to roast this as omni so you can enjoy it however you like to brew, from filter to espresso. In the cup, the coffee has a naturally festive feel. It’s well balanced, leaning gently toward sweetness with a clear marzipan note up front. A soft, fruity acidity follows, showing as poached pear, which adds a nice brightness without being sharp. The finish is smooth and silky-sweet, rounded out by familiar cocoa flavours that are comforting and easy to enjoy. A versatile, warming coffee that feels just right for the season.
